Overview

Our senior community space is where football meets friendship, growth and a healthy dose of competitive spirit! We welcome players from all walks of life and skill level, creating an environment that's as inclusive as it is energetic.

Whether you're here to sharpen your skills, chase victory or simply enjoy the beautiful game with great company, this is your space to thrive, connect and play with purpose.

In 2025, SCFC fielded the following teams and we are hopeful to field the same number of teams again in 2026:

Fees

2026 Registration Seniors -  $637 ($465 club fees + $130 FQ fees + $42 FA fees)


Fees cover:
  • All association fees (club, Football Queensland and Football Australia)
  • Referee fees
  • Electricity and lighting for clubhouse and fields
  • Insurance expenses
  • Club administration fees (council rates etc)
  • Field marking
  • Grounds and facilities maintenance costs
  • Provision of equipment (playing jerseys, balls, bibs, goals etc)
  • End of season presentation event
  • End of season awards

Training and Playing Times

Training is either once or twice per week and is determined by the availability and preference of the coach/team manager.

Matches can be scheduled across the week (nights) or during weekends and are on a home (Usher Park, Daisy Hill) and away basis.

The 2026 season schedule is released by Football Queensland closer to the beginning of the season, with rounds running from the weekend of 6 March through to the weekend of 4 September. Semi-finals and grand-finals will be held on the weekends of the 11 and 18 September. 

In the event of field closures due to weather, Senior competitive matches will be rescheduled.

Playing Uniform

All players are required to wear the Slacks Creek Football Club training shirt to and from games and while training and must wear club shorts and socks while playing. These can be purchased from the club shop. 

Players must wear football boots with plastic tags and shin guards for protection.

Playing jerseys are provided for wear during matches however remain the property of the club. Please note that failure to hand in your jersey at the end of the season will result in a $55 replacement fee.
