Overview

Squirts is where our littlest players start their journey in the world game. The emphasis is on learning basic introductory skills mixed in with a whole lot of fun!

This is where our future Socceroos and Matildas learn and practice the skills of running, jumping, turning and ball control, all while building their confidence, core stability, agility, balance and gross motor skills. And they get to make some new friends along the way!

2026 Registrations

Registrations for the 2026 season are now closed. Please keep an eye on the club's web, Facebook and Instagram pages for information regarding the 2027 season.

Training Times

Training will take place on Saturday mornings at Usher Park, Daisy Hill, starting at 8.15am for approximately 45 minutes.

In the event of field closures due to weather, Squirts training is not rescheduled.

The season runs in line with terms 2 and 3 of the school year but please note that training is not held during school holidays or on long weekends.

Playing Uniform

All players are required to wear the Slacks Creek Football Club training shirt, provided once registration is complete and fees are paid, to and from the club and while training.

Players should also wear long socks and shin guards for protection. While we encourage Squirts to wear football boots, trainers are perfectly acceptable.

Parents

Parents are responsible for ensuring the registration process is complete and all payments are made as required, making sure their child is at training on time and are dressed in accordance with club requirements.

Parents are encouraged to regularly check Creeks Facebook page for any relevant information.

Parents are expected to support their child's team by respecting the decisions of team officials, match officials and club officials and by following policies guiding behaviour.

If a parent has any concerns, the first point of contact should be the Squirts Coordinator. If the issue is unable to be resolved at a team level, the Coordinator will escalate the issue with a member of the committee.
